The Ant and the Dove - हिंदी अनुवाद
एक दिन बहुत गर्मी थी। एक छोटी चींटी को बहुत प्यास लगी थी। वह पानी पीने के लिए एक नदी के पास गई। अचानक उसका संतुलन बिगड़ गया और वह पानी में गिर गई।
चींटी ने मदद के लिए पुकारा। पास के पेड़ पर एक कबूतर बैठा था। उसने चींटी की आवाज सुनी। कबूतर ने पानी में एक बड़ा पत्ता गिरा दिया। चींटी उस पत्ते पर चढ़ गई। पत्ता बहते हुए नदी के किनारे पहुँच गया और इस तरह चींटी की जान बच गई।
कुछ समय बाद चींटी ने एक शिकारी को देखा। शिकारी ने कबूतर पर अपना तीर तान रखा था। वह कबूतर को मारना चाहता था। चींटी शिकारी के पैर पर चढ़ गई और उसे काट लिया। शिकारी ने दर्द से "Ouch!" कहा और उसका तीर नीचे गिर गया। इस तरह कबूतर भी बच गया।
चींटी और कबूतर ने एक-दूसरे की मदद की, जैसे अच्छे दोस्त करते हैं।
Moral
A friend in need is a friend indeed.
अर्थात मुसीबत के समय काम आने वाला ही सच्चा मित्र होता है।
