The Clever Farmer - हिंदी अनुवाद
यह एक clever farmer की कहानी है, जो hillside पर रहता है। उस क्षेत्र में किसान terrace farming करते हैं। एक दिन किसान ने hillside के पास एक field खरीदा। इसके बाद उसने bullocks की एक जोड़ी खरीदी और खुशी से अपने खेत में हल चलाने लगा।
जब किसान ने लगभग आधे खेत में हल चला लिया, तब एक लंबा आदमी वहाँ आया और गुस्से में किसान से पूछने लगा कि वह उसकी terrace पर क्या कर रहा है। किसान ने उसे शांत रहने के लिए कहा और बताया कि वह seeds बोने के लिए खेत में हल चला रहा है। किसान ने कहा कि जब crop तैयार होगी, तो वह हर साल harvest उसके साथ बाँटेगा।
किसान ने उस आदमी से कहा कि एक साल वह जमीन के नीचे उगने वाली चीज ले और अगले साल जमीन के ऊपर उगने वाली चीज ले। लंबा आदमी खुश हो गया। उसे किसान की चाल का बिल्कुल पता नहीं था।
पहले साल किसान ने wheat बोया। Wheat जमीन के ऊपर उगता है। इसलिए किसान ने सारी wheat अपने पास रख ली और जमीन के नीचे मौजूद roots उस लंबे आदमी को दे दीं। इससे वह आदमी बहुत गुस्सा हुआ।
लंबे आदमी ने कहा कि अगली बार वह जमीन के ऊपर उगने वाला हिस्सा लेगा। किसान ने उसकी बात मान ली। अगले साल किसान ने groundnuts उगाए। जब crop तैयार हुई, तो किसान ने जमीन के नीचे उगने वाली सारी groundnuts अपने पास रख लीं और लंबे आदमी को केवल ऊपर के leaves मिले। इस तरह clever farmer ने उसे फिर से fool कर दिया।
Moral: Cleverness is not wisdom.
