एक दिन Sun और Wind एक पहाड़ी की चोटी पर मिले। मौसम बहुत सुंदर था। Sun आकाश में चमक रहा था और ठंडी Wind धीरे-धीरे बह रही थी। उसी समय एक आदमी सड़क पर चल रहा था। उसने एक coat पहन रखा था।
Sun और Wind आपस में बात करने लगे। Wind ने Sun से कहा कि आज एक bet लगाते हैं। सड़क पर जो आदमी जा रहा है, देखते हैं कि उनमें से कौन उसका coat उतरवा सकता है। Sun ने कहा कि वह तैयार है और देखते हैं कि कौन अधिक strong है।
सबसे पहले Wind ने अपनी पूरी ताकत से हवा चलानी शुरू की। हवा तेज होती गई। आदमी का coat हवा से उड़ने लगा, इसलिए उसने coat को अपने शरीर के चारों ओर कसकर पकड़ लिया। Wind ने और तेज हवा चलाई, लेकिन वह आदमी का coat नहीं उतरवा सकी।
